- ALWAYS tell your customers why you are selling popcorn
- KNOW the different kinds of popcorn you are selling
- ALWAYS say "Thank You"
- ALWAYS make a copy of your order form
- ALWAYS have a clean order form with a pen
- BE SURE to get customer email addresses to send them a
"Thank You" email after the sale, reminding them they can re-order
online.
- ALWAYS leave customers a Sales Card
Download and print the ScoutIDcards at the bottom of this page. Fill them out and hand out to your
customers. They are a great way to let your customers know they can order
Trail's End products from you online, plus you can give them to people who can't buy now, but might later!
E. Earn the 1st Blitz Weekend Patch

Every
Scout that sells product door-to-door on the 1st Council Blitz Weekend will
receive the Limited Edition patch shown to left. Scouts who sell door-to-door do twice as well
as Scouts that do only Show-n-Sell. So
that means your Scout will either double the amount he sells, or sell his
amount in half the time. Both are GREAT
results.
Then you can look
forward to earning the Blitz Weekend #2 Patch (see left) on October 6th &
7th.
These patches
fit together so that the football player above is holding the football below in
his hands. Pretty COOL!

Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney wants to
reward those Scouts that participate in the Popcorn Blitz Weekends. In the
month of October and November, when you go eat at Planet Hollywood in Downtown
Disney and show either (or both) of the Popcorn Blitz Weekend patches and get
10% off your party's meal.

The right sales pitch will help all of your
Scouts hit it out of the park when it comes to Popcorn.
It's important for the pitch to be a
"Program First" so that the Scout and the customer know why Popcorn
is being sold.
Make sure your Scouts and families know what
activities are coming up that this Popcorn Campaign is paying for.
Here is your Perfect Pitch:
Hi, I’m ______ from Pack 57 here in Palm Bay.
I’m trying to earn my way to go camping at Camp LaNoChe (or other event you are interested in going to… camping in the USS Yorktown in South
Carolina, etc.)
I’m selling popcorn pay for my trip. Will you help me achieve my
goal by buying some popcorn?
Let the customer know the most exciting
activities your Scouts will be doing this year. The Perfect Pitch makes all the
difference, and can fund your adventure.
